Marco Haber – A talented photographer/student

At his sixteen he is discussing for a personal exhibition in Italy!

An old Chinese proverb says “One picture is worth a thousand words” especially when this is imprinted through the unspoilt eyes of a 16 year old student.
Marco Haber comes from Limassol, from a Greek Cypriot mother and a Lebanese father and is a second grade Lyceum student.  At his free time he is a photographer.

About a year ago, he started getting into photography and since then, he managed to capture with his camera over 200 landscapes, faces and daily life with a totally unique way.

His Instagram page has many followers from all over the world and he has been asked by various Companies to photograph their products or events as they consider that through Marco’s perspective it will help their Organization to increase popularity and subsequently their revenue.

The 16 year old student has recently been approached by an Italian Curator of Arts who found his work interesting, and proposed him to exhibit his photographs at a gallery in the Emilia Romagna  Region.

I have known Marco since he was eight and I could always sense his artistic flair.  It was always impressive to see how such a young man had so mature and refreshing look of the world and how he wanted to relay this somehow.  Today he found a way through photography.

At a recent encounter I had with him, I took the opportunity to ask him how photography entered his life, what inspires him, if he intends to turn his hobby into a profession.

“When I was fifteen, my father bought a camera, so I started using it with him, since I always liked to take photos with my phone whenever we went somewhere. Since then photography has really become an inseparable part of my life”.“I am inspired by nature, light, everyday life, architecture, people..”

“I would definitely like to develop my hobby into a  job, as it’s something that really expresses me, while at the same time I consider it as a challenge that can have a positive impact to my progress as a person and as an artist.”

We wish Marco the best of luck! - the future is undoubtedly his!
