The Lefkara village invites us to the festival!!

34th Lefkara Festival 13 to 18 August 2016

The village is known among other things for the embroidery of Lefkaritika organizes summer festival, giving us the best opportunity to visit!

WEDNESDAY 13 AUGUST
20.30 Opening ceremony and music program with songs by Herodotus Miltiadous.
Exhibition Opening embroidery, archyrochoias (in embroidery shop Evanthia Lyssaridis), photography and painting (in Luke Thanks shop).
The exhibitions will remain open throughout the festival.

THURSDAY 14 AUGUST
21.00 Theatrical performance "laughs the Kypreos?" Margaret Charalambous, the theater group of Lefkara Municipality.

FRIDAY 15 AUGUST
National memorial to the fallen Lefkaritiko, the sacred Temple of the Holy Cross.
Tour in Lefkara. concentration Venue: Hall Square: 18.00.
Ball. Feast and dance with Cyprus Charilaou Maria Andreu and his orchestra Michael Messios. Login with food: € 10 (students: € 5).

SATURDAY 16 AUGUST
Tour in Lefkara. concentration Venue: Hall Square: 18.00.
Lefkaritiki Evening: Twenty Years Lefkara Choir. Music and dance tribute to the 20-year course of choir Lefkara. Time: 21.00.

SUNDAY 17 AUGUST
Contest Bridge, in Lefkara Bridge club, 10.00-13.00. Registrations, tel. (+357) 99 300 270, until 10/8.
Blood donation in memory of Stavroula Panagiotou and Maro Raounas Elementary School, 11.00.
Book presentation of Joy Papavasileiou Koumoulli "Scent of Memory". The presentation will be made by Dino Theodotos in Lefkara hotel 18.00.
Youth Night. Dances and songs from the municipality assemblies in the Primary School yard, 19.30.
Bar. Musical evening in cooperation with the vine in the municipal parking.

MONDAY 18 AUGUST
Children's theater performance of the Satirical Theatre entitled "carousel" of Georges Sari. Directed by Marianna Kafkarides. Courtyard Elementary School, 20.00.
