Totally Tina & Rob B Williams Tribute

Totally Tina & Rob B Williams Tribute

Post Show Review

Yes, they really were here at Zante Bar on 5 April. Time flies! Two days since the Totally Tina & Rob B Williams show is over and I still find myself humming ‘Proud Mary’ to myself while doing housework. Probably you do too, after all it was an event long-awaited for by everyone here in Cyprus.

The double entertainment act featuring Justine Riddoch aka Totally Tina and Nick Garvin aka Robbie Reloaded, apart from the good entertainment, it was intended to support a noble cause, and that was to put a smile not only on our faces but on the faces of those in need and suffering from an unforgiving disease – AIDS. Joining forces with LC Positive Voice, the charity that gives voice to people concerned about or living with HIV and their families and/or friends in Cyprus, the two artists have enchanted the guests with their remarkable talent and above all, they have shown us all that when people strongly believe in something and they start working together, they can make amazing things happen. Totally Tina and Rob B Williams Tribute proved it!

Attendees of all ages counted 220 people who flooded Zante’s gates at 7pm on Wednesday eager to hear Tina and Robbie sing. VIP guests included public figures in Cyprus (i.e.: Mayors, MPs, and Heads of Charity).

Main sponsors of the event included:

The funds raised through the efforts of LC Positive Voice, represented by Chrysi Iacovou-Harrington, President and Derek Lainsbury, Vicepresident exceeded Euro 2,000 in cash. The net worth value of the gifts donated exceeded Euro 4,000.  This tells us one thing – people do care about one another! Support of any form was deeply appreciated by the organisers and will have even a stronger impact for those who really need it.
If you’re looking forward to a next big Tina Turner show, get ready for a wild 13 September night! Stay tuned to find out more!
