And after seeing the general cycling conditions in Cyprus, the time has come to look at various cycling routes as proposed by various competent bodies or by the writer.

Lysos - Cretou Terra
According to data provided by the Cyprus Tourism Organization (CTO), this 24 km long route and an estimated coverage time of 8-11 hours is part of the European Long Distance Trail E4 in Cyprus. It starts from the village of Lysos, passing through Peristerona, Steni and Goudi and ends at Cretou Terra.

Cretou Terra - Aphrodite Baths
According to data provided by CTO, this 22 km long route and an estimated coverage time of 8-11 hours is part of the European Long Distance Trail E4 in Cyprus. It starts from the village of Cretou Terra and through Drousha, the Smiyes excursion area, the Pyana fountain and the Adonis nature trail, ends at the Aphrodite Baths.

Aphrodite Baths - Peyeia
According to data provided by the CTO, this 36 km long route and an estimated coverage time of 12-15 hours is part of the European Long Distance Trail E4 in Cyprus. It starts from the Aphrodite Baths and passes through the Montana Amorosa, Ayios Kononas, the beaches of Lara and Toxeftra, where the protected Caretta Caretta Turtles and the Abaca Gorge are multiplied, reaching Pegeia. Hikers and / or cyclists who will use this route are preparing for a continuous journey as there are no villages and / or services in the middle and the campsite in the Akamas peninsula is forbidden.

Peyeia - Tsada
According to data provided by CTO, this 28 km long route and an estimated coverage time of 10 to 13 hours is part of the European Long Distance Trail E4 in Cyprus. It starts from the Municipality of Peya and through the Pekni forest, the intersection of the main road Pegeia - Kathekas and the Peya - Akoursos road, the Mavrokolympos quarry, Koeli and the intersection of the main road Peya - Polis Chrysochous, ends at Tsada.

Tsada - Pafos International Airport

It starts from Tsada and passes by the golf courses, the valley of Moro Nero, Episkopi and alongside the river and the beach that leads to the river, ends at Pafos International Airport.
