This coastline is 300 meters long, sandy with a rocky bottom covered with fine golden sand, while its crystal clear waters are relatively calm. It is a beautiful coastal strip within the protected zone of the NATURA 2000 network. It is no coincidence that a blue flag was also awarded to it.

The beach took its name from Ayia Thekla, which is dedicated to the carved temple and the new white church nearby.

Visitors can enjoy comforts such as lavatories, locker rooms, sun beds, umbrellas and water sports.

Also, a walkway has been created to allow visitors to take a carefree walk from the beach to the picturesque fishing harbor of the Liopetri River or to Vathia Gonia Beach, depending on the direction you will take.

During the summer months there are lifeguards with lifeguard equipment and first aid services. Ayia Thekla beach also provides a special dissability chair in the lifeguard unit to help people with disabilities enter the sea without the help of lifeguards.
