Chloraka is one of the largest and most developed villages in the province of Pafos.

It is a wooded and densely populated village surrounded by oaks and trembling. You can see the running of crystal clear waters everywhere. Some scholars insist that our village got this name because of the greenery, grass, that had the village and that the village’s name Chloraka was originated from the word “chloros” (“green”).

The religious places of the village are many. You can visit the church of Panagia Chrysoematousa, which is a charming and imposing building and is located right in the center of the village, the church of Agios Nikolaos, the church of Panagia Eleousa, St. Ephraim, St. Hypatios, the picturesque chapel of Saint George, the chapel of Archangel Michael and the church of Saint Nektarios.

Significant points in the village of Chloraka are also the Ellinospiliou, the fountain, Rigena's groove , "pyrkos" fountain and "kamarouin" fountain. Of course, it is worth mentioning Chlorakas Theater, St. George Museum, Parakas Park, Karagiozis Museum, the lilies of the sea and the beach of "Vrexi".

In the area known as “Dimma” in Chloraka, in 500 meters from the shore, there are reefs of Ferfouris, over which many ships crushed in the past as proven by numerous remnants of broken amphorae and other objects found on the seabed around the reefs. One of these is the wreck of Dimitrios II.
