Manager of Lambouri Winery (Lion Spirit)

Cyprus Alive spoke with the manager of Lambouri Winery, Mr. Dragos Chiper. Read the interview below to learn more about this unique Winery.


1. Mr. Dragos, when was the winery established?
The company has been established since 1998 but the winery has been here for 350 years.

2. What does your Winery produce and offer?
We produce wine, spirits, whisky, gin, brandy, green liquor and zinavia. We also offer a great Wine Tasting Experience. 

3. Where are you located?
You can find us in Kato Platres, more specifically at Agiou Demetriou 24A, 4810 K. Platres, Cyprus.

4. What makes Lambouri Winery stand out?
The overall unique feeling we offer to all our visitors. We make people feel comfortable and relaxed. We pay good attention to our wines, we make sure they are smooth, soft and gentle. 
Our visitors can enjoy our fantastic wine tastings as well as our 1998 Commandaria, spirits, zivania and our whiskeys. Bookings are required for the Wine Tasting Experience we offer and with this we also explain the history of wine. 

A variety of drinks for everyone if offers in our cafeteria and roof garden. We serve Wines, Spirits, Coffee, Tea's, Hot Chocolate, Ice Creams and more! 
All ages are welcomed and we guarantee everyone will enjoy the Cypriot Wine Tasting Experience. 

5. What is your future goals for the winery?
To continue to offer high quality products, experience and to produce new drinks.
