The Pafos Zoo is the first and largest licenced zoo in Cyprus and is located in a green and unspoiled natural environment of more than 100,000 sq.m.

It is one of the top tourist attractions of the island. It hosts a wide variety of birds and animals from every corner of the planet.

The collection of parrots and poisonous snakes is one of the largest in Europe!
Pafos Zoo offers a wonderful wildlife experience just minutes from Pafos.

During a visit to the Zoo, you will see over 300 different species of animals.

There are tigers, lions, penguins, monkeys and giraffes, as well as smaller animals such as guinea pigs and hedgehogs.

You will be able to watch a popular parrot and owl show, and there's also a children's area where younger visitors can interact with various animals.
There are a number of of animal interactions that all visitors can take part it during their visit, this includes their walk-in lemurs enclosure and Asian Elephant experience that can all be arranged during their time at the Zoo.

You will see colourful birds such as flamingos and various snakes and turtles.

The show takes place 3 times a day every day, so no matter what time or day you visit, you'll be able to see it. As you can see the times vary throughout the year so make sure you check at the zoo entrance what the times the shows are so you don't miss out.

The show stays about the same throughout the year, although they like to bring in new birds and change things up. There is also a chance that you will have a surprise visit from other animals that live in the zoo.
