Authentic Flavours and Warm Hospitality in the Heart of Coral Bay

We tasted Mediterranean and international dishes, cooked with passion and local ingredients, at a restaurant that stands out in Peyia

One afternoon, we found ourselves in the Coral Bay area of Peyia, in search of a culinary experience that would combine quality, variety, and a welcoming atmosphere. The sun was setting, and the sea shimmered in the distance as we strolled through the quiet streets, hoping to discover something authentic and thoughtfully crafted.

That’s how we ended up at a place that, from the very first glance, inspired trust and a sense of familiarity. Les Amis welcomed us with a relaxed yet impeccably curated sense of hospitality. Despite its French name, the menu offers a rich journey of flavours, from the Mediterranean to international influences, always with an emphasis on fresh, local ingredients and well-balanced tastes.

With so many tempting options, we couldn’t resist trying the traditional kleftiko and stifado, dishes executed with skill and deep respect for Cypriot culinary tradition. The flavours were rich, authentic, and left us genuinely speechless with their deliciousness.

Amongst the specialities, the Pork Fillet Calvados stood out, a dish that pleasantly surprised us: perfectly cooked pork fillet sautéed with caramelised onions and apples, glazed with brandy and Calvados, and finished with fresh cream, simply outstanding. Our seafood-loving friends chose the spicy king prawns with garlic and chilli flakes and couldn’t stop raving about the flavour.

As we leaned, the restaurant is run by three siblings who, with dedication, consistency, and love for their craft, have built a name that radiates reliability and quality. It’s no coincidence that the restaurant boasts an impressive 4.8-star rating on Google Maps and TripAdvisor, something clearly reflected in every dish and every detail of the service.

We left with full, thrilled, and with a promise to each other: the next time we’re in Peyia, we’re coming back.

Because some flavours become memories that simply stay unforgettable.
