Crispy fried zucchini blossoms recipe
Zucchini blossoms as a delicious starter or a nice meze!
Vegetable oil for frying
11/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 small beer (330ml) (or water)
1 glove of garlic smashed
Some chopped parsley for garnishing
zucchini blossoms (stamens removed, about 20-24)
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and whisk until smooth.
Heat the oil in a deep pan.
Drench the blossoms in batter shaking off the excess and lay them in the pan. Fry them 2-3 minutes until golden brown on both sides. Transfer to paper towels to drain.
Garnish with parsley.
You can also make zucchini exactly the same way. Cut it into thin slices and follow the same procedure.
