The traditional creamy American cheesecake or New York cheesecake as it is otherwise called will add a little America to your table!
The recipe is easy and anyone can make it.
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Baking time: about 35-40 minutes
Base: 150 gr butter
250 gr grated biscuit
Cream: 500gr cream cheese
50 gr sugar
75 gr fresh cream
20 gr cornflower
100 gr eggs (2 eggs)
To make the base: melt the butter and after it melts stir with the grated biscuit in a bowl. Spread the base in a pyrex and press it well.
To make the cream: Beat the cream cheese in a mixer along with the sugar and cornflower. Add the eggs one at a time and beat until a smooth cream is created. Add the cream and lemon zest and beat them in a mixer until incorporated.
Bake in 190 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
When it gets a golden color it's ready.
